Underwear sales support to the economy

It’s good news at last, the economy is on the way up, as indicated by the rising sales of men’s underwear. MarketWatch reported a 7.9% increase in underwear sales for the first quarter of 2010. Another positive sign was Hanesbrand, Inc. reported an 8.2% increase in first quarter sales and predicted robust sales for all of 2010.

As reported by the Consumer Warning Network in the summer of 2009, the dean of the financial markets, Alan Greenspan, points to the sale of men’s briefs as one of the most accurate predictors of economic conditions. Sagging sales reflect a sagging economy. And, in turn, renewed sales show a pull-up in consumer confidence.

So don’t let the economy or anything else sag longer than necessary and treat yourself to a pair or 2 of comfortable and stylish designer mens underwear from www.undiesandovers.co.uk

UndiesandOvers teams up with the Everyman Campaign

We are proud to announce that UndiesabdOvers has teamed up with Everyman.

With every underwear purchase you make, undiesandovers.co.uk will donate 5% of the item value to the Everyman Campaign. So now you can support a worthwhile male cancer charity whilst styling up your underwear drawer.

About Everyman Campaign

Everyman is a campaign run by The Institute of Cancer Research to raise awareness of and fund research into prostate and testicular cancer.

Male cancer affects men of all ages - fathers, sons, husbands, brothers and friends - and touches many lives. Around 37,000 men are affected by prostate and testicular cancer in the UK each year and this figure is on the increase, yet we still do not know why.

Prostate cancer kills one man an hour in the UK and is now the most common cancer in men; testicular cancer is the most common cancer in men aged 15-44, however is 99% curable if caught early enough. Despite this, and the fact that it affects so many men in the UK, awareness is low and research into male cancer is severely under-funded.

In response to this The Institute of Cancer Research has set up the Everyman Centre, Europe’s only dedicated male cancer research centre, to investigate the causes of these cancers, and to improve diagnosis and treatment.

Together we can stamp out male cancer.
